Family Memories Memories Additional Pictures History: Burrington Hill was founded around 1960 by the late Chet Page of Whitingham, Vermont. The area was a classic mom and pop operation, which taught many folks how to ski. The area was located high up in Whitingham, with a vertical drop of 200' and had a northwestern exposure. As you can see in the picture below, most trails were fairly narrow.
