August of 1994 while on a Boy Scout canoe trip along the Fish River in northern Maine. I had never heard of it before, but noticed the area from our campsite in Fort Kent. My dad (who was along for the trip) and I checked the area out. I took some pics, which have since disappeared, unfortunately.
