The Lyndon State College Ski Area opened during the 1963-1964 season, to provide skiing for the students at Lyndon State College. The rope tow was 300 feet long, with a vertical drop of only 60 feet. One slope provided night skiing and racing during local competitions. This ski area was one of the smallest ski areas EVER in the state of Vermont.
