Oak Lee Ski Lodge

The Oak Lee Ski Lodge operated a 300ft rope tow on a practice slope from just after World War II until perhaps near 1950, according to several Ski NH guides from that era. The area was described as offering a "House-party atmosphere!" No sources for this area are found after 1949, suggesting it closed around 1950. Bradley Kasnet has this tidbit of info which may help to find this lost area: "The Shannon Door Pub in Jackson, NH was once known as the Oak Lee. I don't know if it is somehow related to the Oak Lee Ski Lodge which there is a page about on your website.
