Pine Top Ski Area Pinetop Ski Area South Vernon, VT Mid 1940's - ? Pinetop (not the one in RI) was a small ski area located near Brattleboro, Vermont. It started in the mid 1940's with a few rope tows and a few trails, and eventually created a Tiny Tot tow. It had a decent vertical drop for a rope tow only area (400 feet), with 4 slopes and trails.
