Costello , we were first alerted of this area that was operated by the city of Montpelier. Here's what he has to say: "Montpelier Rope Tow, operated by Rec. Vermont College is also defunct-it's now part of Norwich University in Northfield, VT. VT Tramway reports indicate the Vermont College area was open before 1969, and operated until 1975.
